Background

This Notion template was created by the Notion-certified workspace architect, COO, UX designer and project manager, Dave Mence, through endless iteration and refinement since 2021, using it to manage and deliver real-life client website projects at NFBS Studio, with individual website project budgets of up to 100k€.

Those budgets have continually forced this client project dashboard solution to be performant and effective, with no room for inefficiency. It’s now used for projects of many types and sizes.

This template has also gone through the gauntlet of client testing, presented at times with challenges like client’s lack of time/attention, client’s lack of tech savvy, client’s reluctance to use a new software tool, confusing hierarchy of employee roles at the client’s company, etc.

It has been battle-tested, and proven to increase project efficiency and profitability, while at the same time reducing stress, meetings, email correspondence and human error.

It was after countless times hearing clients say things like “The dashboard you used to manage our project with us was a game-changer! It made everything easier / better / smoother! What a great experience!” that it became clear this simply had to become a template to be shared with you.
